Mitchell R. Dobrzelewski O.D.
A Gaylord, Michigan native and graduate of St. Mary’s High School, Dr. Dobrzelewski received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Michigan State University and completed the Doctor of Optometry program at Ferris State University in 1988. He has practiced in the Lansing area since 1995, with experience at Blue Care Network as well as private and commercial practices, then opening DeWitt Optometry in 1999. He has also served as part-time clinical facilitator for Michigan College of Optometry at the Jackson Prison Hospital Eye Clinic, and currently oversees Optometry students at DeWitt Optometry and CareFree Optometry. He opened the CareFree Optometry Clinic in Lansing alongside a fellow Optometrist in 2008. As an avid Spartan, he enjoys attending MSU events, traveling with his wife, Martha, and son, Aidan, golf, and landscaping. He is also a participating member of St. Jude Parish, Kiwanis, and the Knights of Columbus.
Jeffrey A. Koets, O.D.
Dr. Koets is a DeWitt native having graduated from DeWitt High School in 1983. He received a Bachelors of Science degree from Alma College in 1987, and graduated from Ferris State College of Optometry in 1992. Dr. Koets has been practicing in the Lansing area for many years and joined DeWitt Optometry in January 2003. He is currently a part-time clinical facilitator for Michigan College of Optometry at the Jackson Prison Hospital Eye Clinic, DeWitt Optometry and CareFree Optometry. Dr. Koets is a HUGE baseball and MSU fan. He lives in DeWitt with his wife April, and has two children, Kyler and Carlie.
